End User Licence Agreement
This agreement covers iMacroPad for iPad and iPhone and iMacroPad for Mac, wherever you get them: from the App Store, from this website or from our payment provider. By installing or using iMacroPad you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the app. Download and purchases open at launch.
Effective 17 October 2026
01Who this agreement is between
- This agreement is between you and iMacroPad (“we”, “us”), the developer of iMacroPad. It is not with Apple Inc. or any other store.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for iMacroPad and what it contains.
- “The app” means iMacroPad for iPad and iPhone, iMacroPad for Mac, their updates, and the layouts, themes and help that come with them.
- This agreement works together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If they differ, this agreement wins for the app itself.
02What your licence lets you do
- When you buy iMacroPad at the price shown on the Buy page, we give you a lifetime, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the app. It is a single purchase, not a subscription, and it does not expire.
- You may use it on the devices covered by your purchase, as described on the Buy page. You can move it to a new device when you change one.
- If you buy in the App Store, you may use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The app may also be used by other accounts linked to yours through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- You may use it for personal use or for your work, including at a company.
- The app is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights not given to you in this agreement.
03What you may not do
- Copy, rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense or share the app or your licence key, except as this agreement or the store allows.
- Use it on more devices than your purchase covers.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, or try to work out how it is built, except where the law allows this anyway.
- Change the app, make works based on it, or remove its notices.
- Get around the licence check or any other limit built into the app.
- Use it to break the law or to control a computer you are not allowed to control.
04Plugins and your content
- Layouts, themes, macros and plugins you make are yours. When you share them, you are responsible for what they contain.
- Plugins made by others are their authors’ work, not ours. They may call other services. Check what each one asks for before you allow it. We are not responsible for plugins we did not make.
- You may write plugins for iMacroPad and share them, as long as they follow this agreement and the plugin rules in the help.
05Updates, maintenance and support
- We alone are responsible for maintaining and supporting the app, as described here and as required by law.
- Apple has no obligation at all to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- Updates are included. We may change, add or remove features over time.
- For help, see the Support page or write to [email protected].
06Warranty
- We work hard to make iMacroPad reliable. As far as the law allows, it is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it will be free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. Any warranty that the law gives you and that cannot be excluded is our responsibility.
- If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple (for App Store purchases) and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app to you. As far as the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation at all for the app.
- Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility, not Apple’s.
- iMacroPad presses keys and runs commands on your Mac when you ask it to. Check what a layout, macro or plugin does before you rely on it, and keep backups of your work.
07Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, profit or work, from using or not being able to use the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in this agreement limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
08Product claims
We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims by you or anyone else about the app or your use of it. This includes claims that the app causes harm (product liability), claims that it does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws, including laws on the use of the HealthKit and HomeKit frameworks.
09Intellectual property claims
If anyone claims that the app, or your use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
10Legal compliance
You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a United States Government embargo, or that the United States Government has designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to follow the export laws that apply to the app.
11Third-party terms and services
- You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, for example your network or wireless data provider’s terms.
- The app works with apps and services made by others, such as OBS, Photoshop, Teams, weather and currency services, and any service a plugin calls. We do not control them, and their own terms apply to them. See Legal & copyright for the services and notices.
12Apple as a third-party beneficiary
Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement. Once you accept it, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
13Ending the licence
This licence lasts until it ends. You can end it at any time by deleting the app from your devices. It ends by itself if you seriously break this agreement. When it ends, you must stop using the app and delete it. Sections 06 to 12 and 14 still apply after it ends.
14Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws applicable at the developer’s place of business, without regard to rules on conflicts of law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts. If a part of this agreement cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
15Changes and contact
If this agreement changes, we update it here and change the date at the top. Changes do not take away a licence you have already bought.
