Terms of Use
These terms cover iMacroPad for iPad and iPhone, iMacroPad for Mac and the licence you buy for them. We have kept them short and in plain English. By installing or using iMacroPad you agree to them. The full terms of the licence are in the End User Licence Agreement.
Effective 17 October 2026
01Who we are
“iMacroPad”, “we” and “us” mean the maker of iMacroPad. “You” means the person or organisation using it.
02Your licence
- When you buy iMacroPad, you get a lifetime licence to use it. It is not a subscription and does not expire.
- One licence covers up to three devices at the same time: for example one Mac, one iPad and one iPhone. You can move it to a new device when you change one.
- You may use it for personal use or for your work, including at a company.
- The licence is for you. Please do not share, sell or publish your licence key, and do not use it on more devices than it covers.
- Purchases in the App Store also follow Apple’s terms, including Family Sharing where it applies.
- Updates are included. We may change, add or remove features over time.
- The End User Licence Agreement sets out the licence in full, including the terms Apple requires for the App Store.
03What you may not do
- Copy, resell or rent out iMacroPad, or pass it off as your own.
- Get around the licence check or remove notices from the app.
- Take the app apart to copy it, except where the law allows this anyway.
- Use it to break the law or to control a computer you are not allowed to control.
04Your content
Layouts, themes, macros and plugins you make are yours. When you share them, you are responsible for what they contain. Plugins made by others are their authors’ work: check what each one asks for before you allow it.
05Other apps and services
iMacroPad works with apps and services made by others, such as OBS, Photoshop, Teams, weather and currency services, and any service a plugin calls. We do not control them, and they may change or stop working with iMacroPad. Their own terms apply to them.
Apple, Mac, iPad, iPhone and the other product names and logos shown on this site and in the app are trademarks of their owners. iMacroPad is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. The iMacroPad name and logo belong to us. See Legal & copyright for the trademarks and third-party notices.
06Payments and refunds
Purchases open at launch. They are handled by the App Store, or by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record, for purchases outside the App Store. Refunds are handled by the store or payment provider you bought from, under its policy. If something is wrong with your purchase, write to us and we will help.
07No warranty
We work hard to make iMacroPad reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it will be free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. iMacroPad presses keys and runs commands on your Mac when you ask it to: check what a layout, macro or plugin does before you rely on it, and keep backups of your work.
08Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, profit or work, from using or not being able to use iMacroPad. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
09Ending the licence
You can stop using iMacroPad at any time. If you seriously break these terms, your licence may end and you must stop using the app.
10Changes and contact
If these terms change, we update them here and change the date at the top. Changes do not take away a licence you have already bought. Questions: [email protected].
