Quick answers

Does it work without Wi‑Fi?

The pad and the Mac need to see each other on one network: Wi‑Fi, Ethernet or the Mac’s own hotspot. Nothing goes over the internet.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. Keys, layouts and state travel only between your devices on your network. Weather comes from Open-Meteo for the city you choose; calendars are read on the device. Plugins can call a server only if you allow it.

Can I use two iPads with one Mac?

Yes. Every device that connects gets the same state; each can show its own layout.

Does it work with Windows?

No. iMacroPad is made for the Mac, the iPad and the iPhone only.

My app is not in the list

Any Mac app with a menu bar works: add a layout, then give keys a shortcut or a menu item by name. Write to us and we may add a ready layout.
